Is on-line therapy effective?
Although face-to-face therapy is most usual, even before the COVID-19 crisis, Virtual therapy has been available and many clients have found this to be both convenient and effective. Research evidence has shown that although people may express preferences, on-line therapy is just as effective as face-to-face. We can offer Zoom, Skype or FaceTime platforms, according to your preference. Telephone sessions can also be arranged.
If you do opt for on-line therapy, we would expect that you treat the sessions just as you would a face-to-face session -- to attend on time, and work in a comfortable private environment without interruptions.
